Who we are

We are made up of a great team of local and international players who have come and enjoyed the team so much they have stayed plus exciting new international players checking out Queenstown and New Zealand Ice hockey

Watch Us

SkyCity Stampede play in the New Zealand Ice hockey league (NZIHL) which has 6 teams all competing for the championship and the right to lift Birgel Cup.

Home games are played at Queenstown Ice Arena between May and September.

Our fans are the best in the country and we love playing at home as it brings a new dimension and is like having extra players on the ice. Come make some noise and join the fun.
